December 14, 2007 - Saskatchewan Hockey Association announces SaskEnergy Hockey Day in Saskatchewan
The Saskatchewan Hockey Association (SHA), in co-operation with SaskEnergy,
announced today the first annual SaskEnergy Hockey Day in Saskatchewan, taking place
January 19, 2008 in communities across the province.
October 5, 2007 - ATCO Midstream Expands in Saskatchewan
ATCO Midstream Ltd. is entering into an agreement to purchase a 50-percent interest in the
Grimes Energy Joint Venture gas plant near the town of Kisbey as the company continues
expansion into Saskatchewan. ATCO Midstream will partner in the purchase of the plant
with Bayhurst Energy Services Corporation, a subsidiary of SaskEnergy Incorporated. The
purchase of the plant, licensed to process 2.5 million cubic feet of sour gas daily,
includes approximately 22 kilometers of pipeline servicing four regional producers.
October 2, 2007 - SASKENERGY RATE DECREASE APPROVED
The Provincial Government has approved an average 5.7 per cent decrease for
SaskEnergy’s commodity rate for natural gas, effective November 1, 2007. The decrease will
mean a savings of about $66 a year for the average residential customer. The decrease was
recommended by the Saskatchewan Rate Review Panel in its recent report to Government.

The second annual fundraising calendar was once again produced through the partnership of the Saskatchewan Roughriders, KidSport™ Saskatchewan and SaskEnergy. Last year, over 4,200 calendars were sold throughout
the province raising over $98,000 for KidSport™ Saskatchewan, and the partners are hoping for a similar result this year.
August 30, 2007 - SaskEnergy requests commodity rate decrease in advance of winter heating season
SaskEnergy has filed an application with the Saskatchewan Rate Review Panel (SRRP) for a new November 1,
2007 commodity rate of $6.93/Gigajoule (GJ), reflective of lower natural gas costs in advance of the winter heating season.
If approved, this would represent a commodity rate decrease of 2.3 per cent from the current rate of $7.17/GJ, with the average residential customer paying $26 less in annual gas costs.

Delivery Rate Increase Approved
The Provincial Government has approved an average 5.7 per cent delivery rate increase for
SaskEnergy, effective June 1, 2007. This increase applies to the delivery rate only, not the actual cost of
the commodity. The effect will be an overall bill increase of $2 a month for residential customers and $2.50
a month for farm customers, with modest increases for other customer classes.

cavern-development operations at its Asquith Natural Gas Storage Project, after

In a community-minded move, SaskEnergy today
handed over its highly successful 11 year-old warm clothing
program, the SaskEnergy Share the Warmth Recycling Project,

creating a legacy of giving through “official permanent
Share the Warmth depots” around the province and an awards
program for schools that remain involved with the project.

Quality in Asquith Area
TransGas Limited (TransGas) is developing four
underground natural gas storage caverns in the Asquith area.
This storage cavern development is essential for providing safe
and reliable natural gas service in the Saskatoon area, as the
pipeline network alone cannot meet the future needs for natural
gas on cold winter days.

10, 2004 - TransGas Operation Suspended Pending Further Research
The Saskatchewan Watershed Authority has asked
TransGas to initiate a controlled shutdown of operations near
Vanscoy to allow for further research into public concerns about
groundwater levels in the Grandora area. TransGas had originally
scheduled a temporary shut down for March 2005. The company will
co-operate with the Authority by advancing the timing of the
planned shutdown by approximately 15 weeks.

Project About to Begin!

winter clothing like mitts, toques, scarves, blankets

TransGas, the pipeline transmission company
of SaskEnergy is using innovative technology to test and
maintain their natural gas pipeline system to ensure the

crews will be inspecting a 12” natural gas pipeline to
confirm its integrity and strength and ability to safely
operate into the future. The pipeline, which runs adjacent
to Circle Drive between Clarence Avenue and Boychuk Drive,
is the main feeder that supplies homes, businesses and
industrial customers in the Saskatoon area and throughout
eastern Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan
Today, the Southwest TransGas Share the
Warmth Fund donated the funds necessary to purchase
three computers for the Tutoring and Literacy Program in
Maple Creek. The Program in turn bought the computers
from the In Kind Centre of Saskatchewan. The computers
will be an aid to 25 students, both children and adults,
who have moved to Saskatchewan from countries like China
and South Korea and are learning English as a second
