SaskPower and SaskEnergy want customers to go paperless

SaskPower and SaskEnergy have launched a contest to promote the benefits of paperless billing.

Eligible entrants will have a chance to win one of six paper-thin ENERGY STAR® qualified MacBook Air Notebooks. Customers who have already gone paperless are automatically entered in the contest.

"Choosing paperless billing is an easy way to reduce paper and help protect the environment," SaskPower Vice President Customer Services Judy May said. "This contest is also a fun way to promote the eBill services of both SaskPower and SaskEnergy."

Paperless billing from SaskPower and SaskEnergy provides customers with:

  • Secure access to view their bills online anytime, anywhere.

  • The ability to view up to 24 months of billing history online; and

  • Updates on current promotions and programs.

"Customers who have already signed up for paperless billing have indicated how convenient and easy the service is to use," SaskEnergy Director of Customer Solutions Jacquie Kerr said. "In addition to being convenient, eBill is an opportunity for individuals to go green and do their part for the environment. If only half of all SaskEnergy and SaskPower customers made the commitment to discontinue receiving their paper bills, this would reduce the printing and mailing of over 300,000 pieces of paper per month! Collectively, that's a significant impact."

More information about paperless billing, including full contest rules and regulations, is available at saskpower.com and saskenergy.com.
