SaskEnergy is dedicated to providing employment for full-time post-secondary students. There are a variety of positions available for summer and co-op students throughout the province.

   

Summer Student Program
SaskEnergy hires approximately 60 summer students each year to work at various locations throughout the province from May 1 to August 31.

The Summer Student Program provides post-secondary students with an opportunity to gain work experience in various areas such as Customer Service, Finance, Operations, Corporate Affairs, and Corporate Support.  Both field and office positions are available throughout the province.

Summer Students’ pay rates, effective 2010-02-01:
  Hourly  
1st Summer  $16.82  
2nd Summer  $17.25  
3rd Summer  $18.16  

In order to be considered for a summer position, students must meet be currently attending full-time at a post secondary education at an accredited University, College or Technical institution and be returning full-time in the fall.

Co-op Student Program
SaskEnergy Co-op positions are available for either a 4-month term or an 8-month term starting January 1st, May 1st, or September 1st.

The Co-op Program is designed to give students an opportunity to gain work experience in various areas such as Engineering, Operations, Corporate Affairs and Corporate Services.

Only students in the Co-op Program at their respective post-secondary institutions may apply. These institutions include: the University of Regina and SIAST.

Co-op students’ pay rates, effective 2010-02-01:

  Hourly  
1st Year Student $17.58  
2nd Year Student  $18.62  
3rd Year Student  $19.11  
4th Year Student  $19.68  

Positions are posted at the Co-op office at your college or technical institution.
