Saskatchewan Pride
Pride has always been a strong component of our Saskatchewan heritage, so we have a
category to reflect that.
Projects that would fit into the Saskatchewan Pride category are the First Nations Awards, the Swift Current Kite Festival,
or the Saskatchewan Book Awards.
Other examples include arts projects such as the Globe Theatre for Youth, or sporting
events that help young people learn the value of sportsmanship at a provincial level while they build body
and soul, like the 2002 Canada Special Olympics Summer
Games. Essentially, we will consider any project that helps our
province glow with pride.
Projects in the Saskatchewan Pride section can fall into one of the following areas:
-
Community Celebrations
-
Sport Excellence
-
Arts Excellence
Project Example:
Children & Music at Mozart at Mission Ridge
For the last two years, SaskEnergy helped take music to children’s ears by sponsoring the children's
activity tent for families at the Regina Symphony Orchestra's annual concert at Qu'Appelle Valley. It was
our pleasure to help kids realize that "classical" doesn't mean old...it just means wonderful. How do I know if my project
qualifies?
How do I apply to the SaskEnergy
