Important Notice Regarding Federal ecoENERGY Retrofit-Homes Program
As of March 31, 2010 NRCan announced that they would no longer accept any new
applicants into the ecoENERGY Retrofit-Homes program.
Homeowners that have already completed their pre-retrofit evaluation (D audit) will be
able to finish their retrofits and must complete their post-retrofit evaluation (E or
F audit) within 18 months or by March 31, 2011, whichever comes first. Based on the
retrofits completed, homeowners will receive two cheques, one from NRCan on behalf of
the Federal Government and one from SaskEnergy, who is administering the program on
behalf of the Government of Saskatchewan.
