Their Story:
Christopher and Bobbi Dawn are the parents of four children in Saskatoon. Their home, which they’ve owned for nine
years, was built in the 1950s and was heated by a 25-year-old furnace. The family received a number of energy efficient
upgrades including a furnace, window pane replacement on front doors, and other energy efficiency improvements such as a new
showerhead, light bulbs, and weather stripping.

EnerGuide Rating
Methodologies that estimate's a home's annual energy consumption based on an in-depth
interview. The SEGH evalution provides an energy rating for the home, as well as recommendations on the
retrofit that will help to reduce energy costs and improve the homes overall energy efficiency.
The results of your pre-retrofit energy evaluation show that your house rates [48 points]
on the EnerGuide scale. If you implement all of the energy efficient recommendations in this report, you
could reduce your energy consumption by up to [51%] and increase your home’s energy efficiency rating
to [75 points].
Upgrades included:
Furnance replacement, attic insulation, window replacements and the painting of fence and window trim.
