Persephone Theatre

The Persephone Theatre Youth Tour is an inspirational program whereby the theatre troupe visits schools throughout Saskatchewan performing plays that tackle issues pertinent to adolescents, such as self-acceptance and teen violence. The themes addressed are designed to generate classroom discussions, while the theatrical medium encourages students to express themselves through their own artistic talents.

In 2009, the Persephone Theatre Youth Tour reached more than 10,000 students in 40 communities throughout Saskatchewan. This year, the program is scheduled to visit 45 communities, delivering performances to roughly 13,000 students.
