Saskatchewan Games Council

In June 2009, SaskEnergy announced a major sponsorship agreement with the Saskatchewan Games Council – the umbrella organization that supports athletes competing in the Saskatchewan Games, the Western Canadian Games and the Canada Games.

SaskEnergy provides the Saskatchewan Games Council with office and storage space at its downtown Regina location, and has committed to giving the organization $40,000 in funding over the next four years to support the torch relay and volunteer components of the Saskatchewan Winter and Summer Games. SaskEnergy has been a long-time supporter of these multi-sport events, which help young athletes gain competitive experience and prepare for the national stage.

Through this sponsorship, SaskEnergy upholds its commitment to Fueling Champions and Sharing Dreams with young athletes throughout Saskatchewan.
