Heart & Stroke Foundation Big Bike Campaign

SaskEnergy is the continuing title sponsor of this campaign in Saskatchewan, which runs annually from May to September in communities throughout the province. Teams of 29 riders get together to raise money for heart and stroke care and research – one of the top five health care causes in Canada. Then, when the Big Bike comes to their towns, teams congregate for a day of tandem riding and other festivities in support of the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

The total amount of funds raised in 2009 for this campaign was $359,000 through 83 rides in 52 communities.
