SaskEnergy Team Energy Enviro-Action Grants

Team Energy is a SaskEnergy sponsorship program that supports youth volunteer initiates. In order to qualify for an Enviro-Action or Community Spirit grant, youth participants must propose a project designed to improve the environment and/or educated community members about environmentally sustainable practices.

One recent Team Energy Enviro-Action Grant went to the Tree Planting Club at North Battleford Comprehensive High School. The club has existed at the school for 20years, with members participating in annual tree planting projects throughout Northern Saskatchewan. This year's group of volunteer participants will use the grant money to purchase trees and shrubs to help make the area around their own school more ecologically stable. To find out more click here.
