Science Fair

SaskEnergy continues to be the Official Sponsor of the Saskatchewan Regional Science Fairs, with 2010 marking our 19th year of involvement. Over the years, nearly $800,000 (plus countless employee volunteer hours) has been invested in this program.

Saskatchewan children from grades 7 - 12 (in some cases, grades 1 - 12) invent, test or create scientific projects that fall under six categories: Life Science, Biotechnology, Earth & Environment, Physical Science, Engineering and Computer Science.

Every student who participates in a regional fair has a chance of advancing to the Canada Wide Science Fair scheduled in May of each year.
