Energy Efficient Rebate for New Homes

SaskEnergy offers an Energy Efficient Rebate for New Homes. To qualify for a homeowner rebate, you must have purchased or built a newly constructed home, that is either ENERGY STAR® qualified, R-2000 certified or has an EnerGuide for New Homes rating of 80 or above, in the past 12 months or will take possession of your new home before December 31, 2013.

To be eligible for the rebate, the following criterion is required:

• If you have already taken possession of your home, you must complete the application form in full and sign. Forms must be postmarked on or before either: a) 12 months after your possession date, or b) August 31, 2013, whichever comes first. When submitting your application, please provide all other required documentation to process the rebate application, such as certificates, receipts or quotes.
  
  
• If you are scheduled to take possession of your new home in 2013, a partial application must be completed and signed. The application must be postmarked on or before August 31, 2013. You must take possession of the home and have it certified before December 31, 2013. In addition, all required documentation, such as certificates, receipts or quotes necessary to process the rebate application must be postmarked on or before December 31, 2013.
  
  
• No exceptions will be made for late applications or late documentation.

To apply for the Energy Efficient Rebate for New Homes, fill out a Rebate Application Form and submit to the SaskEnergy address indicated. Full Terms & Conditions are outlined on the application form.
