What started as a simple idea has quickly grown into a program making a real difference for students across Saskatchewan. For years, SaskEnergy's Prud’homme Compressor Station has been more than a hub for energy — it’s been a hidden sanctuary for nesting birds. “We've been managing nesting birds at the station for more than 10 years. This holiday season, SaskEnergy employees helped bring joy to classrooms across Saskatchewan through our annual Santa Store initiative. These pop-up stores give kids the chance to pick out gifts for their family members while learning the joy of giving. Colourful canoes and kayaks, all lined up and ready to race, filled the south side of Wascana Lake at the end of August for the 2025 Canoe Kayak Canada Sprint National Championships. These championships drew more than 900 athletes from all over Canada to Regina. With so many athletes and races, it was all hands on deck to help the event run smoothly. As cold weather returns to Saskatchewan, SaskEnergy is helping people stay warm — the Share the Warmth grant program is back.
