Hundreds of volunteers stepped up to support more than 1,500 young athletes who competed in the 2026 Saskatchewan Winter Games, which were held in Flying Dust First Nation and the City of Meadow Lake from February 15–21. These volunteers played many important roles, including helping with logistics, competitions, ceremonies, and hospitality. What started as a simple idea has quickly grown into a program making a real difference for students across Saskatchewan.
