Scholarships
Each year, SaskEnergy sponsors hundreds of community events and programs throughout Saskatchewan. In addition, we support future leaders by making it easier for students to earn their post-secondary education. We provide funds to the following universities and technical schools:
- University of Saskatchewan
- University of Regina
- Saskatchewan Polytechnic
- Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technology
- Gabriel Dumont Institute
More than 60 scholarships are awarded each year; a quarter of them go to Indigenous students.

Environmental Programs
Our commitment to the environment includes reaching out to Saskatchewan classrooms.
- SaskEnergy is a proud sponsor of Earth Rangers, supporting them in delivering provincial elementary school assemblies and their Wildlife Adoption program. Each year a specific animal adoption supports wildlife conservation right here in Saskatchewan.
- SaskEnergy and Nature Conservancy Canada (NCC) have worked together for more than 25 years, most recently on NCC's commitment to support conservation and stewardship in the Southwest Sandhills of Saskatchewan. We created a downloadable Activity Sheet to help kids learn about the amazing biodiversity found in the Southwest Sandhills Natural Area.

- Bussing to Smarter Science Better Buildings
In partnership with the Saskatchewan Environmental Society, Students learn the value of energy efficient buildings. This includes direct experience with innovative technologies and evaluating important design concepts. - Willow Awards
SaskEnergy has sponsored the Young Readers’ Choice Awards for over a decade. Youth are empowered to read and then vote for their favourite books.
