SaskEnergy is pleased to announce that after an extensive search, Kevin Adair has been named President and Chief Executive Officer, effective August 17.
“Kevin has significant experience within both the public and private sectors, and it was clear to the Board that he is the right person to lead SaskEnergy,” said Susan Barber, Chair of SaskEnergy’s Board of Directors. “He is a strategic and people-focused leader who inspires those around him and has demonstrated a strong commitment to SaskEnergy’s employees, customers, and future success.”
Since launching his career with SaskTel in 1999, Adair has established a strong track record of leadership and operational expertise. He has held senior executive positions in the agricultural and communications technology industries, including the role of Vice President of Customer Services – Operations of SaskTel.
Adair currently serves as Executive Vice President, Customer Service Operations with SaskEnergy and has held that position since joining the Crown corporation in 2021. In this role, he has been instrumental in advancing SaskEnergy’s strategic priorities and delivering value to customers across Saskatchewan.
“Kevin’s leadership experience and commitment to SaskEnergy make him exceptionally well suited for the role of President and Chief Executive Officer,” said Jeremy Harrison, Minister Responsible for SaskEnergy. “We are confident that he will continue building on the corporation’s strong foundation while ensuring Saskatchewan residents and businesses receive the natural gas service they depend on to heat their homes, run their companies and fuel economic growth across the province.”

Adair holds a Bachelor of Administration, is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), and has also obtained the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D) designation. He has served on numerous boards including the Saskatchewan Trade and Export Partnership (STEP), Junior Achievement of Northern Saskatchewan, and the Saskatchewan Common Ground Alliance (SCGA).
Adair was born and raised in rural Saskatchewan and currently lives in Regina. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling, golfing, and spending quality time with his family.
