SaskEnergy's approach to corporate responsibility

Our vision is to provide critical energy to support Saskatchewan.

Corporate responsibility is integrated in our governance framework, our approach to risk management, and how we conduct our day-to-day operations. SaskEnergy’s commitment to environmental responsibility includes reducing our own emissions from operations while assisting our customers in minimizing their carbon footprint. Our relationships with customers, communities and Indigenous groups are key as we support economic prosperity for future generations. Our employees drive the success of our organization. We strive for a work environment where all ideas are valued, respected and welcomed.

At SaskEnergy, corporate responsibility includes four focus areas: Environment, Prosperity, Our People and Governance.

Environment

We have long considered the impact of our own operations, as well as the impact of our customers’ activities, on the environment.

Prosperity

We support Saskatchewan’s economy by investing in the rural, urban and Indigenous communities where we live and work.

We promote corporate responsibility through the stewardship of our organization. This includes how we conduct our business, serve our communities, and our approach to managing risks.
