What is a SaskEnergy Network Member?
Network Members are qualified, independent plumbing and heating professionals that work in partnership with SaskEnergy to bring customers the benefits of natural gas. There are two membership types available:
- Residential Network Membership: for the residential equipment replacement and furnace maintenance market.
- Commercial Network Membership: for retrofits or new construction for small, medium, large or industrial commercial buildings.
What are the benefits of becoming a Network Member?
- Access to SaskEnergy's Rebate Programs
- Your business details and contact information listed and promoted on SaskEnergy's website
- Industry and technology information and education
- SaskEnergy-led advertising campaigns that promote Network Members and the SaskEnergy programs and services they offer
For Residential Membership Only:
- In-store customer financing
- Network Home Heating Tune-Up service and the option for customers to add the cost of service to their SaskEnergy bill
- As a Tune-Up provider you will also participate in the Tune-Up Assistance Program (TAP) that offers a free furnace maintenance service to income qualified homeowners
- Sharecost Advertising: receive up to $1,000 per year towards advertising, sponsorships or promotions (SaskEnergy pays 50% of the total qualifying cost). Additional funding is also available for custom building signage and open house events
- Free Network Member signage for your building as well as window and truck decals
Is there a cost to become a Network Member?
If you are a member in good standing with the Natural Gas Appliance and Equipment Association (NGAEDA) or the Mechanical Contractors Association of Saskatchewan (MCAS) you'll receive a discount on your SaskEnergy Network Membership fees. Membership is available for the Residential or Commercial Network, or you can sign up to offer both at a reduced rate.
Membership Fees
Network Membership fees are billed on an annual basis (per calendar year).
Residential Membership
- MCAS or NGAEDA members: $250 + GST
- Non-members: $1,000 + GST
Commercial Membership
- MCAS members: $500 + GST
- Non-members: $1,000 + GST
Combined Residential and Commercial Membership
- MCAS or NGAEDA members: $500 + GST
- Non-members: $1,250 + GST
