Daily natural gas consumption in the province over the last 24 hours (9:00 a.m. Thursday to 9:00 a.m. today) has tied the previous record set in December 2016 of 1.33 PetaJoules (PJ) of natural gas. This is the fourth consecutive winter in a row that a new record has been established, and eight of the top 10 peak load or near record-setting days for SaskEnergy have occurred this winter. This record, set in the 24-hour period between 9:00 a.m. February 7 th and 9:00 a.m. February 8 th, ties the record set on December 30 th, 2017.
