Saskatchewan sets new one-day natural gas consumption record

A new record for daily natural gas consumption in the province was set over the weekend due to the cold temperatures, along with high natural gas consumption and new customer growth. In the 24-hour period on Saturday, January 16 th to Sunday, January 17 th, TransGas, the natural gas transmission subsidiary of SaskEnergy, delivered 1.29 PetaJoules (PJ) of natural gas to its customers in Saskatchewan. The Goals for KidSport program wrapped up another season with more than $20,000 raised to help ease financial barriers for youth involved in sports.
