Customers choose natural gas for reliability, affordability

SaskEnergy continued to provide safe, reliable and affordable energy to Saskatchewan in 2022-23 as demand for natural gas continued to grow. Rental Properties

If you own or manage rental properties, there are two options to ensure natural gas service continues, without disruption, as tenants move in and out. Options for billing are: You receive a monthly bill for your rental properties. Whether your property is vacant or leased, you're responsible for paying the bill. Tenants are billed directly for their natural gas usage. They're responsible for paying the bill as long as they are leasing the property. If there are no tenants, you will receive a monthly bill to ensure natural gas service continues to the property. If Tenants Pay Their Own Bills If...

SaskEnergy to Request Rate Adjustments; Customer Bills to Decrease

SaskEnergy customers could soon be paying less on their monthly natural gas bills after the corporation brings a request for adjustments to its commodity and delivery service rates to the Saskatchewan Rate Review Panel (SRRP). On June 29, 2023, SaskEnergy will apply to the SRRP for a 22.1 per cent decrease to the commodity rate, dropping it from $4.20 to $3.30 per gigajoule. At the same time, SaskEnergy will also bring forward a proposal for the SRRP to consider a five per cent delivery service rate increase. The combined commodity and delivery service rate adjustments will result in an...
