SaskEnergy applies for lowest Commodity Rate in 19 years; residential customers to see annual savings of over $80

SaskEnergy today announced it has applied to the Saskatchewan Rate Review Panel to lower its Commodity Rate from $3.65/Gigajoule (GJ) to $2.65/GJ, effective April 1 st, 2019. SaskEnergy is also asking the Panel to approve a 3.7% Delivery Service Rate increase for April 1 st, 2019. Other charges are applied to your bill as required. The Commodity Rate in dollars per cubic metre ($/m 3) may be converted to a rate in dollars per gigajoule ($/GJ) by dividing it by SaskEnergy's forecast heating value of 0.03950 GJ/m 3.
