Every day, the Saskatoon Friendship Inn welcomes people who need a hot meal, a safe place to go and a sense of community. As more people turn to the organization for help, volunteers play an important role in supporting its work. Recently, six SaskEnergy employees spent an afternoon volunteering at the Friendship Inn. Students didn’t just learn about safety at the Cade Sprackman Safety Day in Regina — they experienced it firsthand. On May 27, more than 200 students from Campus Regina Public took part in a full day of hands-on activities designed to prepare them for real-life risks at work and in their communities.
