SaskEnergy to Request Rate Adjustments; Customer Bills to Decrease

SaskEnergy customers could soon be paying less on their monthly natural gas bills after the corporation brings a request for adjustments to its commodity and delivery service rates to the Saskatchewan Rate Review Panel (SRRP). On June 29, 2023, SaskEnergy will apply to the SRRP for a 22.1 per cent decrease to the commodity rate, dropping it from $4.20 to $3.30 per gigajoule. Cabinet Approves SaskEnergy Rate Changes for November 1; Second Bill Decrease for Natural Gas Customers in 2016

The Government of Saskatchewan today approved SaskEnergy's adjustments to both its Commodity and Delivery Service rates, as recommended by the Saskatchewan Rate Review Panel.
