After a full year of generating power, the large-scale solar installation at SaskEnergy’s Town Border Station (TBS) 1 in south Regina has proven to be a shining success! For several years running, SaskEnergy employees have volunteered their time to support annual community cleanups in Regina and Yorkton. In Regina on May 11, SaskEnergy pitched in at the North Central Community Association (NCCA)’s annual community cleanup to help make the central Regina neighbourhood a bit cleaner and safer. More than 20 employees and their family members assisted in filling nine oversized garbage bins with difficult-to-dispose items. Students got the answers to these questions and more as part of Cade Sprackman Safety Day events that took place in Tisdale and Melville during May.
