For several years running, SaskEnergy employees have volunteered their time to support annual community cleanups in Regina and Yorkton. In Regina on May 11, SaskEnergy pitched in at the North Central Community Association (NCCA)’s annual community cleanup to help make the central Regina neighbourhood a bit cleaner and safer. Raising a tipi is about more than building a shelter. This was one of many lessons learned by teams in the Glen Anaquod Tipi Raising Competition. SaskEnergy has applied to the Saskatchewan Rate Review Panel to increase its commodity rate, which would continue to be the lowest in Western Canada and the second lowest in the country. SaskEnergy today announced it has applied to the Saskatchewan Rate Review Panel to lower its Commodity Rate from $3.65/Gigajoule (GJ) to $2.65/GJ, effective April 1 st, 2019. SaskEnergy is also asking the Panel to approve a 3.7% Delivery Service Rate increase for April 1 st, 2019.
