SaskEnergy has converted its Town Border Station in southwest Regina to generate solar power as part of its commitment to cut emissions. The Regina station is the first of several such facilities across Saskatchewan that will be converted to generate solar power over the next seven years. SaskEnergy is once again providing qualifying homeowners with a free furnace upgrade through its Heating Affordability Program (HAP). The program, which launched in 2025, is designed to help income-qualified homeowners replace their low efficiency furnace with a high-efficiency model, free of charge.
