SaskEnergy is proud to renew our commitment to support the conservation work of Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) in the Southwest Sandhills of Saskatchewan. SaskEnergy's Indigenous Engagement team is breaking down barriers to participate in ceremony with resources like our Cultural Handbook and a Ribbon Skirt Library. January 4 is National Ribbon Skirt Day in Canada, an opportunity to celebrate and learn about Indigenous culture. Ribbon skirts are an expression of story, culture, and individuality. The gymnasium at St. Michael Community School in Regina was recently transformed into a wonderland of holiday gifts, with support from SaskEnergy employees who volunteered and fundraised.
