There is a lot of good that sharing a little warmth can do. In honour of the 30th anniversary of SaskEnergy’s Share the Warmth program, we launched Share the Warmth Days. SaskEnergy has been Saskatchewan's Champion of Volunteers for nearly 25 years. Now, we are saddling up with Canadian Western Agribition as volunteer sponsor for the 2024 event. This year’s Agribition, which takes place from November 25-30 in Regina, will need the help of more than 350 volunteers. SaskEnergy offers a wide range of careers, including many in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). To encourage Indigenous students to consider careers in STEM, SaskEnergy employees are presenting lunch and learn sessions in First Nation schools across the province. “The goal of the program is to have young people get excited and engaged with STEM careers,” says Joseph Daniels, SaskEnergy’s Director of Indigenous Engagement. The curlers weren’t the only ones hurrying hard at the 2025 BKT World Men’s Curling Championship — with 13 teams and over 75,000 fans attending nine days of curling action, it was the efforts of the more than 300 volunteers who made the event a success!
