Tipi-raising competition delivers lessons about work and life

Raising a tipi is about more than building a shelter. This was one of many lessons learned by teams in the Glen Anaquod Tipi Raising Competition. Four teams from SaskEnergy joined others from the community at the University of Regina in late September to take part in the annual event. Assumptions used in this estimator: The amount of energy required to evaporate 1 pound of water is 2,000 British Thermal Units (BTU’s). The amount of energy needed to dry grain varies. Safety events prepare students in Tisdale and Melville for future workplaces
