SaskEnergy supports understanding and respect through Fireside with Lyndon

The Fireside with Lyndon conversation series is about sharing stories that build understanding, like the opening event for the 2026 season where Inuk actor, filmmaker and cultural advocate Lucy Tulugarjuk joined host Lyndon J. Linklater to explore how language and storytelling help keep culture strong. These kinds of thoughtful, story based conversations are what define the Fireside with Lyndon series and keep audiences coming back. “Supporting the Fireside with Lyndon series reflects SaskEnergy’s ongoing commitment to reconciliation,” says Joseph Daniels, Director of Indigenous Engagement at...

Reliable natural gas service a year-round effort at SaskEnergy

Brrrrr it’s cold in here! Luckily, there’s a quick fix! With the simple press of a button on your thermostat you’ll soon be nice and toasty. That was the case for many of SaskEnergy’s customers in February, as they used 36 per cent more gas than they did for the same month in 2024. While we didn’t set a new “peak day” record this winter, February’s daily average for natural gas delivered in the province was the second highest on record. While turning up your thermostat might feel like hitting the easy button, it takes year-round planning and maintenance from teams across SaskEnergy to make...

SaskEnergy supports community safety through cleanup events

For several years running, SaskEnergy employees have volunteered their time to support annual community cleanups in Regina and Yorkton. In Regina on May 11, SaskEnergy pitched in at the North Central Community Association (NCCA)’s annual community cleanup to help make the central Regina neighbourhood a bit cleaner and safer. More than 20 employees and their family members assisted in filling nine oversized garbage bins with difficult-to-dispose items. SaskEnergy co-op students learn, grow and thrive

Starting a co-op term can feel exciting — and a little intimidating. At SaskEnergy, we make sure students feel supported from day one and give them real-world experience to help build confidence. Brylee Jeffries’s eight-month term with our Enterprise Information Management (EIM) team is coming to a close and she’s leaving with skills and experiences that go far beyond her experience in EIM. “At first, I was nervous because everything was new,” Brylee says. “But over time, I learned to be comfortable asking questions and trusting myself to figure things out.” While Brylee’s primary role during...
