Every day, the Saskatoon Friendship Inn welcomes people who need a hot meal, a safe place to go and a sense of community. As more people turn to the organization for help, volunteers play an important role in supporting its work. Recently, six SaskEnergy employees spent an afternoon volunteering at the Friendship Inn. Raising a tipi is about more than building a shelter. This was one of many lessons learned by teams in the Glen Anaquod Tipi Raising Competition. Four teams from SaskEnergy joined others from the community at the University of Regina in late September to take part in the annual event.
