SaskEnergy increase approved for public safety and infrastructure investments

Today the Government of Saskatchewan approved an increase to SaskEnergy’s Delivery Service Rate of 3.6 per cent to begin November 1, 2017. On average, the increase to residential customers will be an additional $1.65 per month or about $20 annually. Daily natural gas consumption in the province has set another new record of 1.50 PetaJoules (PJ) of natural gas. This record, set in the 24-hour period between 9:00 a.m. December 29 th and 9:00 a.m. December 30 th, breaks the previous record set on December 26 th, 2017. Daily natural gas consumption in the province has tied the current record of 1.50 PetaJoules (PJ). This record, set in the 24-hour period between 9:00 a.m. February 7 th and 9:00 a.m. February 8 th, ties the record set on December 30 th, 2017.
