SaskEnergy Extends Energy Efficiency Rebate Programs for Commercial Customers

SaskEnergy’s commercial customers now have another nine months—until August 31, 2022—to apply for energy efficiency rebates. Extending the deadline for the space and water heating equipment rebates is part of SaskEnergy’s commitment to a greener Saskatchewan. “By offering rebates on high-efficiency natural gas equipment we are helping our commercial customers reduce their energy use, maximize cost savings and reduce greenhouse gas emissions over the long term,” said Kevin Adair, who leads SaskEnergy’s Customer Service Operations. The rebates encourage the use of high-efficiency natural gas...

Share the Warmth Days bring communities together across Saskatchewan

At the end of January, on a cold and windy winter day, SaskEnergy kicked off this year’s Share the Warmth Days in Regina. The chilly weather made it the perfect time to offer warm drinks, essential winter items, and friendly smiles to people passing by. “Being able to offer a warm cup of coffee, along with essential items, while wishing someone a great day was incredibly powerful,” says Zahra Hosseinmardi, a SaskEnergy employee who volunteered at the Regina event. SaskEnergy Celebrates 30 Years of Sharing the Warmth

In recognition of the 30th anniversary of SaskEnergy’s Share the Warmth program, the Corporation is investing $100,000 in grants to charitable organizations that help our province’s most vulnerable through the cold winter months. Starting out as a sweater recycling program in the ‘90s that redistributed more than a million articles of clothing, Share the Warmth has transformed over the last decade into a grassroots initiative that supports charitable organizations in bringing warm shelter, clothing and mental health services to those who need it most. “We are very proud that the program has...

First Nations Safety Signs earn national recognition

At SaskEnergy, safety is a shared responsibility — it’s shared by our employees and customers, and by the people of Saskatchewan, who live and work near our infrastructure. SaskEnergy has converted its Town Border Station in southwest Regina to generate solar power as part of its commitment to cut emissions.
