Extreme cold weather across Saskatchewan this past week resulted in record-breaking natural gas demand in the province. The peak demand was on January 12 with a natural gas consumption rate of 1.70 petajoules per day (PJ/d). SaskEnergy, in collaboration with SaskPower, is expanding its popular Commercial Space and Water Heating Rebate (CSWHR) to include the replacement of rooftop units (RTU) and variable speed electronically commutated motor (ECM) circulating pumps. SaskEnergy supports community safety through cleanup events

For several years running, SaskEnergy employees have volunteered their time to support annual community cleanups in Regina and Yorkton. In Regina on May 11, SaskEnergy pitched in at the North Central Community Association (NCCA)’s annual community cleanup to help make the central Regina neighbourhood a bit cleaner and safer. SaskEnergy sets new daily natural gas usage record

Extreme cold weather across Saskatchewan this week resulted in record-breaking natural gas demand in the province. On December 28 and 29, natural gas consumption surpassed the previous daily record of 1.57 petajoules (PJ) which was set in February 2021.
