Employees from SaskEnergy’s Swift Current office have once again stepped up to help families in need in their community. For more than a decade, they have been carrying on a tradition of supporting the local Salvation Army food bank. “It’s a team effort for a great cause,” says Mike Rossiter, General Manager of Operations in the Southwest Area. “In the fall, we put a call out to our Operations and Customer Service team members, and they come through every year.” In addition to employee donations, SaskEnergy provided a $200 grant to purchase items for the food bank. SaskEnergy supports community safety through cleanup events

For several years running, SaskEnergy employees have volunteered their time to support annual community cleanups in Regina and Yorkton. In Regina on May 11, SaskEnergy pitched in at the North Central Community Association (NCCA)’s annual community cleanup to help make the central Regina neighbourhood a bit cleaner and safer. More than 20 employees and their family members assisted in filling nine oversized garbage bins with difficult-to-dispose items. Supporting sustainable development and energy security on First Nations

Bringing natural gas service to communities and First Nations is about more than just ease of access to an energy source. It also supports sustainable development and energy security. “Affordable, reliable energy is an important step in First Nations being able to grow and thrive," says Joseph Daniels, SaskEnergy’s Director of Indigenous Engagement. “It's something most of us take for granted. Safety events prepare students in Tisdale and Melville for future workplaces

What substance is added to natural gas to give it an odour? What does it smell like? Students got the answers to these questions and more as part of Cade Sprackman Safety Day events that took place in Tisdale and Melville during May. Members of SaskEnergy’s Operations team attended the events and had a station set up as part of an “Amazing Safety Quest.” The quest taught students about safety in a variety of industries in the province, so they are prepared before starting their careers. Santa Stores bring holiday magic to Saskatchewan schools

This holiday season, SaskEnergy employees helped bring joy to classrooms across Saskatchewan through our annual Santa Store initiative. At St. Raphael Community School in Regina, volunteers set up tables overflowing with gift items donated by SaskEnergy employees. “It’s really impressive the amount of support SaskEnergy employees provide every Santa Store,” says employee Carter Henderson, who was volunteering for the first time at a Santa Store. “We had three full truckloads of...
