Request an Encroachment Check

Before You Begin

SaskEnergy completes an encroachment check to help ensure structures are safely located near natural gas infrastructure. The results of a check can support the sale of a property or a safety inspection.

The check will identify any hazards or high-risk encroachments that may need to be addressed. Allow up to 10 business days to receive the results.

This type of inspection is not valid for digging, excavation, or ground disturbance work. You must request a utility line locate for that type of work.

For Realtors

  • You may submit the request on behalf of the property owner.
  • You must include the property owner’s contact information in the request.
  • The results of the check will be sent to the property owner to share with you.
