How to apply:

1

Develop a one-page project plan

Be creative! The project plan should highlight how your organization plans to utilize your grant and the impact you anticipate the project will make in your community. Be sure to specify the specific needs of both your community and organization.

2

Complete an online application

Fill out the online application form. Be sure to include your one-page project plan and any other supporting documents you have to help us understand your project. Please add Share the Warmth to your project or event name.

To give your organization the best chance of receiving a grant, consider including the following information to help us better understand the community impact of your proposal:

  • Assistance: How many people will you be able to assist with your project, and what will be the lasting impact of your efforts?
  • Community Engagement: Will you partner with other organizations? Will you be including volunteers from outside your organization to assist in your project day?
  • Awareness: Will there be any public awareness of your project? If so, tell us how you will make that happen.
  • Leveraging Resources: Will you leverage other resources to assist with your project? If so, please tell us about your plan to obtain additional financial or in-kind resources.
  • Activation Assistance: Please let us know if you require volunteers to help with your project and we will do our best to be there if our resources allow.
