Share the Warmth Grant Program
Last year, community organizations received grants to support more than 105,000 people throughout the province. Once again, we are looking to help charitable organizations continue their support of vulnerable citizens in their community. Together, let’s make a difference in our province!
2025-26 Program Guidelines
Thank you for your interest. We are are no longer accepting applications for this year.
- Applicants must provide care and services to vulnerable citizens in Saskatchewan.
- Organizations selected for funding must complete their own projects.
- Eligible projects must focus on providing warm clothing, shelter, food and/or mental health services.
- Previously funded projects may apply.
- Applications should include documentation that highlights how the funds will be used and the impact on the community.
- $100,000 is available which will be distributed through grants of up to $1,000.
- Projects are to be executed between November 17, 2025 and March 31, 2026.
- Deadline to apply is October 31, 2025.
- Successful applicants will be notified by November 10, 2025.

Leask Happy Homesteaders – Walking Towards Fitness (Leask)
Promoted physical activity, especially through the winter months, with weekly indoor walking and fitness programs aimed at keeping seniors and rural community members active and connected.
Qu’Appelle Valley Friendship Centre – No Child Without Christmas (Fort Qu'Appelle)
Created and delivered Christmas gifts, stocking filled with goodies and small gifts. They also organized a community Christmas meal, where families could come together to celebrate, share stories, and create lasting connections.
ML Homeplate Shelter Coalition Corp. – Winter Emergency Homeless Shelter (Meadow Lake, Flying Dust First Nation)
Provided shelter and essential services to individuals experiencing homelessness in Meadow Lake during the harsh winter months.
Square One Community Inc. – Empty Bowls (Moose Jaw)
Raised awareness about hunger and supported local food banks and organizations. Participants purchased handcrafted bowls, symbolizing the empty bowls of those in need. The event featured a simple meal, such as soup and bread, and encouraged attendees to reflect on hunger in their community.
North East Outreach & Support Services – Knitting for NEOSS (Melfort, Tisdale, Nipawin)
Made and provided handmade toques, mitts and scarves to women, children and families in need.
